Any TWO Mr Bear 2025 Pins
Take home two pins for five dollars off the individual price. Mix and match across both designs, or double up on your favourite.
Both designs are by our current Mr Bear Perth, Mikey (with help from fellow member Hien), and capture two sides of him: the playful, the unapologetic, and a whole lot of pink.
Bearlesque
Bears in boas. Bears in heels. Bears who can werk a stocking like nobody's business. The Bearlesque pin is exactly what it says on the tin — a cheeky play on "burlesque," with a fishnetted, high-heeled bear front and centre, in pink and black.
"I wanted to blend the masc image many people think of when they think of Bears with a touch of femininity and pizazz. I want people to smile when they see it — and maybe even imagine themselves in a boa and stockings, feeling gorgeous." — Mikey
Love Pink
Bubblegum letters, a heart, a star, and a whole lot of attitude. The Love Pink pin is a graffiti-style love letter to a colour — and an inside joke from Western Roundup that's now part of Bears Perth folklore. For Mikey, pink isn't just a colour; it's armour, joy, and self-expression rolled into one.
"It makes me feel beautiful and confident, like I could walk into a room and own it. It gives me the feeling of happiness that I didn't know I'd been missing." — Mikey
The pins
- Both 25mm hard enamel
- Traditional butterfly clutch backings
- Set of 2 — choose any combination of Bearlesque and Love Pink
Limited edition — these fundraising pins are here for a good time, not a long time. Once they're gone, they're gone.
Supporting QLife
Mikey has chosen QLife — an Australian peer support service for LGBTIQ+ people — as his charity for his year as Mr Bear Perth.
"When I read about QLife's mission, it immediately resonated with me. It made me think of my younger self, wishing I'd known something like this had existed sooner. The service they provide is so invaluable to Queer folks living in remote regions who've probably spent nearly their whole lives thinking they were alone in the world, with no one to talk to about their experience as being Queer." — Mikey
100% of the pin price goes directly to QLife (postage excluded).
