Our regular social at Loton Park Tennis Club — nibbles, cheap drinks, a raffle, and a room full of bears who'll actually talk to you. Halloween edition — fancy dress night. Dust off the fur and the fangs: the den is going spooky. There's a prize for the best costume of the night, so go full were-bear, zombie lumberjack, sexy pumpkin, or whatever's been lurking in the back of the wardrobe. The scarier, sillier or hairier the better. Who it's for Anyone 18+ and male-identifying, cis or trans — seasoned bear, curious cub or somewhere in between. Cost Members free. Non-members $5, pay at the door. Food and drink Nibbles provided throughout the night, and cheap drinks at the bar with extra-special member prices. Dress Fancy dress encouraged, never required. If costumes aren't your thing, come as you are — you're just as welcome. Road closures around Loton Park on Saturday 14 November for an event at HBF Park. Public transport is the easy option. If you're driving, apply below for one of 20 temporary City of Vincent parking permits, with thanks to the City. Who can apply Members only, one permit per member. Cost Free. How many 20, first come first served. Applications close When all 20 are allocated, or at 5pm on Saturday 14 November — whichever comes first. Where it works Anywhere in the City of Vincent's Zone 8 (map below) where "Permit Holders Are Exempt" signage is present. Your details. This is an electronic permit, so we have to send your licence plate number to the City of Vincent. Bears Perth keeps it only to administer the permits and for nothing else. Zone 8 Permit conditions The e-permit lets you park where "Permit Holders Are Exempt" signage is present within Zone 8, and exempts you from time restrictions of one hour or more in that zone. It does not authorise parking in ACROD bays, No Stopping zones, clearways, 15 or 30 minute bays, loading zones or ticket machine zones. It is not valid for vehicles that are unregistered, disused, oversized or causing an obstruction. It does not exempt the driver from the Road Traffic Code or the City's Parking Local Laws. We're trying get our largest ever turnout for the Pride Parade and encourage all members to register. The Bears are marching in this year's pride parade! Side by side with our fellow Bears. The theme this year is Goldilocks and the Bears of Bears Perth. Some Bears are big, some are small, some are tough and others are cuddly. So dress to show exactly what type of Bear you are!   Or get into your best Goldilocks outfit and skip side by side and have a camp time! We're asking all Bears to march with us this Perth Pride to show the community what being a bear is all about! Come and join us as we march through the streets of Northbridge on Saturday, November 28th, and let others know that we are proud to be bears, big or small, femme or masc, and everything you want to be! If you are interested in marching with Bears Perth, register here to get your ticket and we will keep you up to date on all the juicy details of the march there, and did we mention it’s absolutely free?!  We are also holding an extra special Den Afternoon before the parade so we can all meet in the same spot, have a few drinks, and make our way over together, so watch this space for details!
