Eligibility

Membership is open to male-identifying people aged 18 and over. This includes cis and trans men, as well as male-presenting people.

Not you? No worries — we also host inclusive community Den Nights and public events several times a year, where everyone is welcome regardless of gender or membership status. Keep an eye on our Events Calendar and socials for details.

Fees

Membership is $25 per person and valid for one membership year (1 April – 31 March).

🎉 Bonus: Memberships approved after 1 December are valid until 31 March the following year, plus the full next membership year — up to 16 months for the price of 12.

Applying

You can join Bears Perth either online or at a Den Night.

• Online: To make sure you’re in the right place (and not looking for the rugby club), please contact us first. Mention that you understand Bears Perth is a queer men’s social club, and we’ll send you the membership link.
• In person: Sign up at the door at any Den Night. Scan the QR code, join on the spot, and get free entry from that night onwards.

Digital Membership Cards

Membership includes a digital membership card for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — replacing the old laminated cards. When you join or renew, you’ll receive instructions to add your card straight to your phone. You can also log in later to download or reissue your card if needed.
