Bears Perth is a social group for men, established in 1993 and incorporated as "Bears Perth" in 1997 (Association Number A1006343C). We are NOT associated with the newly announced NRL club called "Perth Bears". Please do not sign up for membership if you are here to join the rugby club.

Eligibility

Bears Perth is a social club for male and male presenting people over the age of 18.

However, if this doesn't sound like you, we also host inclusive quarterly open den nights and public events where everyone is welcome, regardless of membership status. Keep an eye on the website and social media for details.

Cost

Membership is currently $25 per person and is valid for one membership year, which runs from 1 April to 31 March the following year. Memberships apprroved after 1 December will receive membership until March 31, and complimentaty membership until 31 March the following year.

Applying

You can apply to become a member by either

• Completing the membership application at the link below. Membership payment is required upfront, and can be refunded if you change your mind prior to approval.
• Completing a membership form at the door of any den night and paying by card or cash. Please ask us at the door.

Renewals

As we are using a new website and membership database for 2025, all renewing 2024 members will need to apply for membership at the link below. If you use the same email address you have been using with Bears Perth, your membership detials will be retained.

Renewals can also be made at the door at any of our den nights, but you will need to log on later to create your account.

Digial Membership Cards

The new platform for 2025 introduces digital membership cards, which replace the laminated paper cards from previous years. When you renew or sign up you will be given information on how to add the card to Apple Pay ID or Google Wallet. You can log on and request this later if you wish.
